Justin Bosl is a partner at Kazan, McClain, Satterley & Greenwood (Kazan Law). He became a partner in January, 2013 after practicing as an associate at Kazan Law since February, 2006. Mr. Bosl initially joined Kazan Law as a law clerk in 2004. During Mr. Bosl’s career at Kazan Law, he has managed a variety of cases with the goal of achieving the best possible outcome for his clients. Mr. Bosl has been involved in every aspect of litigation on behalf of clients who have suffered from asbestos exposure.
Mr. Bosl is a part of one of the most experienced team of mesothelioma lawyers in the country. Kazan Law is a pioneer in the field of asbestos litigation and has represented thousands of victims of asbestos-related illnesses. Mr. Bosl is dedicated to advocating for the rights of mesothelioma patients and recovering the maximum compensation for those affected by this fatal disease. He has handled all phases of litigation including drafting complaints, performing discovery, taking depositions, and preparing for and managing the trial. Mr. Bosl has demonstrated a commitment to seeking justice for the innocent victims of this aggressive disease and holding accountable those who knowingly exposed innocent people to this dangerous chemical for so many decades.
Ms. Bosl has been instrumental in many substantial verdicts for mesothelioma victims. Mr. Bosl’s cases include a client who contracted mesothelioma while repairing and installing brakes containing asbestos as an auto employee. The court sided with the plaintiff after concluding that the defendants had defectively designed their brakes, did not alert consumers of the inherent dangers of contact with the brakes, and failed to notify customers of preventative measures to avoid harm. The plaintiffs were awarded nearly $4 million for the victim’s personal injury and subsequent death as a result of his mesothelioma diagnosis.
Mr. Bosl has been recognized by his industry and peers for advocating on behalf of clients who have been severely injured by the wrongful acts of others. He was nominated by his peers as a North California Rising Star in San Francisco Magazine in 2011, 2012 and 2013. The National Trial Lawyers named Mr. Bosl to the Top 40 Under 40 list in 2012 and 2013. Mr. Bosl’s advocacy for mesothelioma patients includes educating others – he gave a presentation on asbestos litigation at the Annual Convention of the Consumer Attorneys of California in 2012.
Mr. Bosl received his J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2005 and his B.A. from Franciscan University of Steubenville. Mr. Bosl is admitted to the Bar in the state of California. He is also admitted to practice in the Federal District Courts in California and the Supreme Court of the United States. He is an active member of a number of professional organizations including the Alameda-Contra Costa Trial Lawyers Association, the Alameda County Bar Association, the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles and the Earl Warren Inn of the Court. He currently practices in the Bay Area and has also tried cases in Los Angeles County.
